As AI systems grow more autonomous, the distinction between "human in the loop" and "human on the loop" is shaping the future of oversight, responsibility, and trust in technology. This talk will explore the evolving roles of humans in AI-driven decision-making systems, from active intervention to high-level supervision. We’ll discuss how these models impact safety, ethics, and accountability across industries. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of where we’re headed - and what guardrails we still need.

Topics of discussion will include, yet will not be limited to:

    • The technical and operational differences between "human in the loop" and "human on the loop"
    • Real-world use cases and risks in critical sectors like defense, healthcare, and finance
    • Frameworks for governance, accountability, and ethical alignment in hybrid human-AI systems

As Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI systems move from experimentation to enterprise deployment, data architecture must keep pace. Traditional static pipelines are no longer enough - what’s needed are dynamic, context-aware ecosystems that can support autonomous agents, real-time decision-making, and continuous learning at scale.

This panel discussion will explore the architectural shifts required to enable these next-gen systems. From evolving data flows and integrating feedback loops to managing control, traceability, and cost, this event focuses on the real-world challenges and trade-offs of building infrastructure that can support AI systems that act - and adapt - on their own.

Topics of discussion will include, yet will not be limited to:

    • How data architecture must evolve to support LLMs and agentic AI
    • Real-world approaches to enabling adaptive, context-aware data systems
    • Governance, control, and transparency challenges in autonomous AI environments
