The below standards, policies, and by-laws outline the operational principles, membership expectations, confidentiality requirements, and participation guidelines that govern the IA FORUM community.

Mission

The IA FORUM is committed to fostering a highly curated, vendor-neutral community where enterprise technology and functional business leaders can engage in meaningful peer collaboration, insight sharing, continuous learning, and real-world knowledge exchange across AI, intelligent automation, technology, and digital & business transformation.

The community is designed to support professional growth, industry advancement, and the development of valuable peer relationships through high-quality programs, discussions, content, and member engagement initiatives.

Membership Standards & Evaluation

The IA FORUM maintains a highly curated, vendor-free professional ecosystem designed to support high-quality peer collaboration, practitioner-driven dialogue, and meaningful industry relationship building across enterprise AI, intelligent automation, technology, and digital & business transformation.

Membership is selectively extended to professionals whose backgrounds, professional accomplishments, leadership experience, scope of responsibilities, industry reputation, subject matter expertise, and overall alignment support the standards and objectives of the IA FORUM community model.

The evaluation process is designed to preserve the highly curated, collaborative, trusted, and high-caliber nature of the IA FORUM community while ensuring members have opportunities to engage with accomplished peers, exchange meaningful insights, and build valuable long-term professional relationships.

Technology professionals working in sales, marketing, business development, or client-facing job roles at vendor organizations are not eligible for membership.

Policies

  • The IA FORUM upholds strict standards surrounding professionalism, confidentiality, content integrity, neutrality, and member conduct. All members, contributors, speakers, sponsors, and participants are expected to adhere to the standards listed below.
  • Private Community: IA FORUM events, discussions, content, videos, presentations, and member insights are intended solely for IA FORUM community members. Unauthorized external sharing or distribution is prohibited.
  • Employer Confidentiality & Information Sharing: Members must never disclose confidential, privileged, proprietary, regulated, or sensitive employer information. All discussions and shared insights are expected to remain high-level, experience-based, and compliant with employer confidentiality, legal, compliance, and data-security obligations.
  • Chatham House Rule: All IA FORUM programs follow the Chatham House Rule, ensuring open dialogue without attributing statements or information to any individual or organization. Information and views expressed in IA FORUM events, presentations, and community discussions are those of the member and do not reflect the official position or opinions of the company they are employed by.
  • Content Neutrality & Integrity: The IA FORUM maintains a strict vendor-neutral environment designed to support unbiased peer dialogue, practitioner-driven insights, and non-commercial discussions free from sales influence or promotional agendas.
  • Vendor-Free Zone: Vendor sales pitches and endorsements are strictly forbidden within the community.
  • Vendor & Solution Provider Events and Content: The IA FORUM does not host vendor or solution provider events or content within the IA FORUM community.
  • IA FORUM Magazine Sponsored Events & Content: Vendor and solution providers that sponsor events or content within the IA FORUM Magazine must adhere to all community standards, confidentiality requirements, and vendor-neutral participation policies.
  • Member Self-Promotion: Aggressive member self-promotion activity is strictly forbidden within the community.
  • Media & Press: Media and press organizations are not permitted within IA FORUM events, programs, or community activities.
  • Confidentiality & Data Privacy: The IA FORUM maintains strict standards surrounding member confidentiality, contact information, data privacy, and information security.
  • Third-Party Data Sharing: Member information, insights, discussions, and participation data are never sold, distributed, or leveraged for commercial market-intelligence purposes.
  • Membership Eligibility: Technology professionals working in sales, marketing, business development, or client-facing job roles at vendor organizations are not eligible for membership.
  • Membership Status Changes: If a current member transitions into a sales, marketing, business development, or client-facing job role with a technology vendor or solution provider company, their membership eligibility within the IA FORUM community is subject to closure based upon IA FORUM membership standards and policies.
  • Membership Payments: All IA FORUM membership purchases and payments are non-refundable.
